Beat the heat with a day of island hopping around Angthong National Marine Park by speedboat. Pack your sunscreen and a change of clothes, then hop aboard in Koh Samui and head out to your first stop, Koh Wao. Jump into the clear water for a refreshing swim and snorkel around to see what’s beneath the surface.
Next, visit Koh Wua Ta Lab, the main island of Angthong National Marine Park. Kick back on the beach, grab a kayak or, if you’re up for a bit of a climb, make your way up to Pha Chancharat Viewpoint for an incredible view across the surrounding islands.
Feeling peckish? Stop for a Thai buffet lunch on Koh Paluay before continuing to Koh Mae Koh. Chill out and sunbathe on the beach or follow a stepped path up to the viewpoint overlooking the famous Emerald Lagoon (Talay Nai), surrounded by magnificent towering limestone cliffs. It’s one of Thailand’s notable geological sites and well worth the climb!
After a full day exploring Angthong, cruise back to Samui and enjoy a well-earned evening at leisure.
